Possibly the best trinket/trophy/accessory to come out of this awesome basketball season.
Shoutout to Owen Campbell, Caitlin Crosby, and Carter Dickey for their hard work and making this book possible.

“To look in the mirror and see yourself. Challenge yourself to be the very best and to always do the right thing. Never compromise your principles, never lower your standards. Whatever you do in life, have the courage and commitment to do it to your absolute best,” Pat Summitt
A week ago, at about this time, we were tipping off in our state championship matchup against a great basketball team…it didn’t go our way.
But…this picture represents an achievement that our boys made off the court. While I so desperately wanted to win, watching our entire town, a whole community, our Ashville Family, come together to support our kids…it’s something I’ll remember forever.
What our boys and coaches did, what our head coach did, what our community did…is nothing short of amazing. There’s not enough space here for me to truly convey how I feel or what led to this achievement, but I felt like it needed to be said: Ashville is better for having these kids make it as far as they did.
As these memories ripen, as the pain and elation subsides, what’ll be left is legacy…a legacy not of one person, of one moment, but a legacy of a group of boys that did more for each other than anyone knows, than anyone could ever imagine. Their legacy will slowly devolve and become defined by a few cool pictures, a crazy story, and a red map, but it’ll always be greater than the sum of all of those things.
Tragedy, adversity, and love…those three words are what led the Ashville Bulldogs to the final game, and that’s what I’ll forever cherish and remember about this season.
Time flies, memories last. Love you, boys.
What an honor to have attended the AHSAA final 4 coaches meeting with 2 of my former assistant coaches, who also have their teams in the Final 4. So proud of @coachdpowell and @C_Carpenter_11
THE WILDCAT WAY has punched its ticket to the final 4 with a 54-47 Win over Thompson to improve to 27-6 on the season. Blessed to lead another great group of young men!!! LETS GOOOOO!!!!!
