The press conference organised the 10th February 2022 by Children for Peace aimed at launching the phase 2 of the project Silence the Guns. Silence the Guns is an integrated citizens project which seeks at increasing children voice and actions in peace in conflict affected areas.
The launching of the phase 2 of the project #SilencetheGuns gathered 130 children and young people (60 physical presence and 70 online participation from various African countries) aged 12-20 years Old . Several community radio, newspapers and televisions attended the event.
For #ClimateAction Campaigns to make lasting and meaningful impact, they should reach the children. We're commited to train & mentor #girls to grow their our own trees from seeds is a sustainable solution, that also teaches them to start with what they have to bring about change.
