Chaos in Kikuyu as man allegedly tries to release bees at Gachagua rally

A man was stopped from releasing bees during a political rally in Kikuyu Constituency, causing a brief moment of panic among supporters who had gathered for the event.

The incident happened as Democracy for Citizens Party leader Rigathi Gachagua addressed or prepared to address the crowd.

According to reports, the man arrived at the venue carrying a sack believed to contain bees and attempted to move closer to the gathering.

Alert supporters noticed his actions and quickly intervened before he could carry out the plan.

They intercepted him and prevented any harm to the crowd. The situation then turned tense as some people in the crowd chased after him.

In the confusion, the man was reportedly attacked, showing how quickly the situation could escalate.

This incident added to an already tense atmosphere in Kikuyu earlier in the day.

There had been reports of teargas being used and confrontations breaking out as groups gathered ahead of the rally. The disruptions raised concern among residents and supporters attending the meeting.
