Guys, it is unwise to tell your wife any uncomplimentary thing that your sister or any family member says about her. The animosity will never end.
Be a man and correct your sister or family member and protect your wife, but she doesn’t need to know.

Naivety and gullibility is why you think "praying people back to life" has ever been a normative thing at any point in Christian history.
Not in the days of the prophets, nor in the days of the Apostles was raising the dead back to life a normative thing. There aren't even up to 10 cases of the dead being prayed for and raised to life in the Bible (OT and NT combined).
This childish stuff I see people say online about how if they die, their friends will pray them back to life or their friends won't "release" them is just a juvenile detachment from reality. When you die, you will more than likely remain dead.
Can the miracle of the dead being raised to life still happen, of course yes, God hasn't changed, but like it has never been something anywhere close to being normative, it won't become normative today.
Christians should rather learn to see death how the Bible sees it, the inevitable end from this vain world and a uniting with our Lord and Saviour. For to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

I quit high school in 11th grade and joined the #AirForce at seventeen. I later got locked up in Mississippi for raising civil rights issues on base. Turns out the local police conspired with my squadron to hold me over a weekend when I couldn’t make bond.
I refused to let that break me or make me bitter. “It’s not what people call you that is important. It’s what you respond to that determines who you are.”

I love you Onyi 💜 and I love your idea. But childbirth, I think, is not the greatest sacrifice in marriage. Neither is it the biggest offer that can be brought to the table. The biggest sacrifice is "leaving one's father and mother and cleaving to one's spouse."
I say this because, if a woman is unable to give birth to a child, does that mean she can't offer anything? The biggest sacrifice is saying "yes, I will marry you," "yes, I'll do life with you."

There’s a time hubby and I were at the airport. We got into the picture and selfie moment. We took quite a number of them. All nice and laughing. Upon viewing them he told me to delete some coz he didn’t like how he looked in them. I insisted and said No. He insisted and I also insisted it’s my phone.
He asked me only one question: So u can’t listen to me if I say I don’t like them?
I knew there and then we’ve now crossed into the husband mode and outa friend mode no-more. I immediately handed over the phone and he deleted the ones he didn’t feel okay with.
That’s all she’s trying to say here.
The ability to discern who is talking at what moment and acting accordingly.
Hope this example throws more light..
Men are really So Important. The older I get, the more I recognize the value of masculine structure. Men fix things, bring stability, bring logic when emotions are high, protect us, help map out a solid game plan when we’re lost. They bring a type of balance and support that just hits different. Good and intentional men don’t always get the credit they deserve❤️.
May God bless all the Good men out there.🙌
I’m still in awe of how He brought us here. Thank you for loving me, growing with me, and choosing me. In less than 2 weeks, I get to become your wife what a blessing and joy beyond words. 🤍

“Some of us have never met before. And you know whose fault that is? Ours. So let's choose to do this. Let's be this more. Let's be neighbors.”
“I don't know if you heard me say it, but God told us to love Him with all that we are and love our neighbors as ourselves.”
What a remarkable person.
