I built my entire personal website in one day using AI, including a fake headshot of myself.
Total cost: $112.67 ($100 for Claude Max + $12.67 Porkbun domain). Hosting on Netlify is completely free.
Here's the process:
Create a professional headshot with GPT Image 2 (let me know if you want the prompt).
Design the site in Claude Design. Context is everything: feed it inspiration screenshots, your headshot, a colour palette, and a design. md file.
You can even take components from 21st. dev (link in comments) and add them to your site, that's how I built my nav bar.
Finalise the design, making sure to optimise for both mobile and desktop.
Buy a domain on Porkbun.
Package the site in Claude, download, upload to Netlify.
Add your domain to Netlify's domain management.
Go to Porkbun, and update your DNS records.
Your website is Live! With free hosting.
The hardest part was deciding I was allowed to use a fake photo of myself.
One learning: Claude's tweaks panel sometimes won't save your edits. The fix is to ask it to make the change in chat instead.
I've included some useful links in the comments, and if there's enough interest, I'd be happy to do a more detailed walk-through.
Agreed! And that's exactly my experience.
Working agency-side exposed me to many different business objectives, audiences and problems - therefore strategies and solutions too.
It's experience I don't think I could have got anywhere else. Now I'm looking to go brand-side to have the focus and depth that comes with living and breathing one product and one audience.
But that agency pace and range is coming with me. All the way from strategy to execution. Highly recommend this approach!
@jswihart@zodl_co I've just applied for the marketing role. Spent the last 8 months scaling Canton Network's X following by 944% and did audience research for Aleo before that.
Onchain privacy is one of the most important problems in crypto, so I'd love to join the team!
2025 was mega.
✅ Joined the brilliant humans at @Flight3official
✅ Built strategies with some of the best brands in the game
✅ Shipped a lot of content (and made it work harder)
This was the year we stopped talking about “the future” and started building it together.
If there was ever a moment to remind you to sign our petition.
It would be the BOE’s announcement on holding limits for GBP stablecoins.
Stablecoins cannot be the innovative new payment rail we need them to be with these restrictions.
The moment to sign is now… before it’s too late🛡️ https://t.co/mUshp9FsBL
@ProofofIntern Agreed. And to often we see 'growth' campaigns attracting farmers or bad actors.
You need to have clearly defined audiences and a clear strategy on how to reach them.
🟦Base is for creators🟦
Big s/o to @coinbase & @base team for an epic creator dinner!
We checked out the Base app and the features are looking spicier than the vindaloo 🌶️
Since launch: $7.76B TVL, 878K daily users, 260M txns in a month.
Props to @_clemens__@claudhadd (we missed you @alexOnChain)
Great insights from @0xsammy and @afrochicksnft ✨
Still hunting to get into the Base app? Comment for a chance at an invite!
@ProofofIntern I've always struggled with this balance.
I always tell myself I need to focus on my own accounts, but it always takes the back seat for clients.
@RizzleSimms Yeah spot on mate, completely agree! This shift needs to happen, and I'm all for it. Would love to connect on this tbh, we need more voices for it🙌
@jkey_eth@aixarizzo Yeah nailed it. CT is a bit of an echo chamber.
What projects need to do is conduct research and map out their audiences purchase journey.
It'll uncover touch points that are effective and are defo not CT. And it saves the guess work, informs messaging etc
@cryyyptorenilp Depends on the audience.
For whatever project you work for, you should always have data-backed audience profiles.
This way you would have identified priority channels to activate on.
