This is a simple reminder to represent others’ views fairly, even when we disagree (strongly!) with them.

The other person could be a horrible person. But misrepresenting their views does nothing to help your cause and only serves to further isolate the other side.

@LauraRbnsn Thank you. I've been seeing some of this stuff among the deconstructing crowd. There are claims that are true, and then there's stuff that's wild speculation and no real basis in history.

In the end, it's the same thing as the people who try to say that Christmas is pagan.
