Today, I ask You to do what only You can do. Good morning Beloved ♥️

Heavenly Father,

As we enter the month of July, our hearts are heavy.

We thank You for the gift of life, but we also come before You carrying the pain of a nation. We have watched mothers weep, families suffer, and voices that have dedicated their lives to serving others face unimaginable hardship. Lord, this is not easy to witness.

Your Word says,

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4

Today, we pray for every Ugandan whose heart is burdened. We pray for those who are grieving, those who are afraid, those who feel unheard, and those who have lost hope.

Father, comfort every family carrying pain. Strengthen those whose bodies are weak. Heal those who have been wounded physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

We pray for our leaders. Give them wisdom that is greater than power, compassion that is greater than pride, and hearts that remember they have been entrusted with the lives of Your people. Teach us all that true leadership protects, serves, and builds.

Lord, remove hatred where there should be love, fear where there should be peace, and division where there should be unity.

Your Word reminds us,

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.” — Matthew 5:9

As a nation whose anthem begins with “Oh Uganda!” and whose motto is “For God and My Country,” may those words never become empty. Help us to become a people who value justice, mercy, compassion, and the dignity of every human life.

Lord, as I start this week, I acknowledge that You are God; You are powerful, good and gracious, there is no one like You, I praise Your great name, You are holy, mighty and powerful, there is no other name under heaven by which I receive life except by your name, I dedicate this week to You and trust that as I make plans, you are directing my steps, I know that all Your plans for me are good and your promises are yes and amen, I pray that you go before me, do not leave my side, do not forsake me ohh Lord, this week I decide to submit myself to you my God and I resist the devil, advance your kingdom through me Lord of all hosts, I am ready and willing to serve you and your people, use me, I will diligently obey Your voice Lord, and I'll carefully observe all Your commandments, believing that Your blessings will come upon me, I thank You that no evil will come near me and that Your Angels are protecting me, I will see victory after victory this week because You are for me and because I have you, nothing is impossible with you. If I could sit with the little girl I once was, I wouldn’t tell her that everything would go according to plan.

I would tell her that she would make mistakes.
That she would get lost at times.
That she would look for love in the wrong places.
That she would have her heart broken.
That she would cry more tears than she could imagine.

But I would also tell her this:

God never leaves.

Even when you walk away, He follows.
Even when you fall, He lifts you.
Even when you feel unworthy, He still calls you His.

And one day, after all the searching, you will discover that what your soul was truly thirsting for was never found in people, success, relationships, or the approval of others.

It was always Jesus.
