The replies to this are truly magical:
- "That's just how every war has always been conducted." (the usual rejoinder, nevermind that anyone who has opened a history book once knows that to be false)
- "The building was evacuated beforehand." (as if I were unaware of that and it were okay to systematically level a city as long as you warn people before you blow up their homes)
- "The building was used by Hamas for military purposes." (right, just like almost every single building in Rafah was "used for military purposes", and had such a huge military value that Israel had no other choice but to level it)
- "It's not actually the same as what Attila did." (my personal favorite)
It's fascinating to watch people, even otherwise intelligent people, go out of their way to turn off their brain and repeat the stupidest talking points imaginable over and over again like fucking mantras.
This is a must-read; it’s rare to get, in English, such a comprehensive depiction of just how much the Israeli media (in this case, one of its leading lights) lies
Dear spineless Premiership clubs in the @spfl this would beat the 💩 you currently serve up to supporters.
An 18 team top flight
Home & away games
2 up. 2 down
Derby games would feel BIGGER
We don’t want to play each other four times a season. It’s BORING!
