Since January 2025, Manchester United have signed Ayden Heaven, Patrick Dorgu, Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, Benjamin Sesko & Senne Lammens. That is not a coincidence either.

It is because the club have had Omar Berrada, Jason Wilcox, Christopher Vivell & Matt Hargreaves working together since Dan Ashworth left in December 2024 & Vivell took a bigger role, which became permanent in February 2025. Michael Sansoni joined in April 2025.

Comparing it to previous transfers prior to that, or before any of them were at OT, is lazy & unfair. So perhaps they've earned a bit of trust this summer.
