@stephenpollard@kemi How are you expecting the poor and low paid to deliver the services in the areas the wealthy want to be an enclave of their own when they’re cleansed from living there? It’s a ridiculous argument the fuels social cleansing.
@tomhfh You might need to visit a “third world country” to make such a statement. They may not consider potholes to be a major concern there. And funding models can certainly be changed, but social care spending isn’t a “spaff” 🤷♂️
@timothy_stanley Personally, i’d rather the recommendation to King should come from the committee or maybe commissioners rather than PM - but it is his constitutional duty and a PM of any faith or none, excluding Catholics or Jews can fulfill it. It is an anomaly but could be resolved differently
@Hrushworth It already allows it. So the change won’t make any difference to that position. Now if it wants to suggest a requirement that only those in communion can advise, then that’s an opportunity to do it right and give the Church Appointments body the right to advise or commissioners
@Alex_Stafford Non-Anglicans can already be “deciding” on Anglican appointments. The only ones who can’t are Catholics and Jews. Unless you’re advocating a new Bill to bar any Church appointments being recommended by anyone other than an Anglican then it’s entirely right to do this.
My question to the Foreign Secretary in which I support him on banning trade to illegal settlements in the West Bank.
Those like me who love the Jewish people know that they have always overcome every empire trying to destroy them because they are primarily people of the book not the sword, but the violence in the West Bank is ethnic cleansing.
@SarahForRuncorn Good news, there is already one British law. Sadly pathological lying isn’t a criminal offence otherwise you’d be long locked up.
Does Reform follow British law? So far seems not 🤣
@HallisseyC Start your own club then. Parkrun has always been fully inclusive, not competitive and open.
If you can do it better, bugger off and do it then.
@DefenceGeek They have half a plane, ships that creak in the water and a President who can’t brush his hair. The current Island garrison alone wouldn’t break a sweat.
@EnolaJon Where is the magic money tree in our already cash strapped Catholic Diocese coming from? We can say all we like about what the huge old churches should or shouldn’t do, but the money isn’t there for your fantasy return programme either. Westminster Cathedral barely stays afloat
@GBNEWS There is no “female category” nor male. And there’s no “first place”, it’s not a competition or a race. Other than that, naturally this completely unqualified member of the House of Lords making a … contribution
@ZiaYusufUK HM Armed Forces have all the immunity from prosecution that it needs, and that’s “not committing war crimes and acting within the law of armed conflict”.
We don’t need any new immunities unless you are suggesting your fantasy league government had ideas? Tell us more
@BreeSolstad Ah yes, care and prayer for the alleviation of millions around the world who die from lack of clean water, and the growing issues of dought etc - what awful marxism… OR we pray for one of the Lord’s most essential creations. One day you might choose God over your politics
@factpostnews A disgrace of a human being. If he wants to be a travelling apocalyptic fundigelical then he should just be that and not pretend he’s remotely Catholic
