@_SystemYaFacts Kenya political fanatics are embarrassing! They don’t remember where they were before their “kings” came to power or where they will be when their “kings” are no longer in power! Constitution will always outlive their short sightedness
@bungomaduke What I can never understand is how Kenya government can keep talking about development but protecting the most vulnerable & innocent citizens is something they can not resolve. We have military and NYS which has huge budget has facilities has counselors but can’t resolve this!
@FredahOndu61763@edwinsifuna I don’t know what the right word, adjective, adverb to describe you and your spirit. But @FredahOndu61763 you are giving Kenya so much hope! Keep going and don’t slow down. You are incredibly amazing! 🫡
Babu Owino , my brother, I have one small piece of advice for you, and I say this purely out of love and respect.
Yesterday in Meru, seeing you on the sunroof of your car announcing that you support Edwin Sifuna for President made me smile, but it also got me thinking. I kept asking myself whether there was really a need to make such an announcement when, to many of us, it is already very clear where you stand...you have always stood with sifuna
My brother, your support for Sifuna is something people have already seen and understood. You have made your position known in different ways, and those who follow Kenyan politics closely already know the direction you are taking. So, in my humble view, there is no pressure for you to keep reminding people that you support him.
And please, I am not saying this as a correction. Far from it. I am saying it as one brother speaking to another brother.
Sometimes, when something is already obvious, saying it repeatedly can make people begin looking for meanings that may not even exist. People start asking themselves questions: Why is he announcing this again? Is there something happening behind the scenes? Is there something we don't know? Yet perhaps there is absolutely nothing behind it.
That is why I would rather see you and Sifuna continue building the relationship naturally. Let people see the friendship. Let them see the cooperation. Let them see you standing together, consulting each other and supporting each other. Those things can sometimes communicate much more powerfully than a public declaration.
Babu, there is also something beautiful about two young politicians recognising each other's strengths and choosing to work together. You have your own political journey, your own supporters and your own ambitions, just as Sifuna has his. But there is room for both of you to support one another without either of you feeling the need to constantly explain the relationship to the public.
And honestly, my brother, I think you and Sifuna need each other in this journey. You bring your own energy, courage and political influence, while Sifuna brings his own strengths, experience and national appeal. Instead of spending too much time explaining that you support one another, I would rather see you both concentrating on what you can achieve together.
Yesterday in Meru, the people could already see you. They could already see your presence and hear your message. Sometimes, just being there is enough.
So, Babu Owino, take this not as criticism, but as a small word from a brother who wishes you well. There is no doubt in my mind that you support Sifuna. There is no doubt in the minds of many people who have been following you.
Just keep doing what you are doing, my brother, with love, wisdom and confidence.
Our Constitutional Software Engineer Edwin W. Sifuna says that...
"We are going back to the constitution. We want to build a country where constitutionalism is the order of the day and Kenyans are proud of their country"...
I agree with him 💯
@edwinsifuna@GenZ
@KTNNewsKE You are right on point and that’s why you are ranked as a top performer Member of Parliament @MarkMwenje . CS interior is incompetent and should resign.
Mark Mwenje:The fact that there was an attack in Nakuru, that there was an attack in Homa Bay, these guys having spoken about it before shows you that the security system we have in Kenya has failed. You start with CS Murkomen. He must be held to account. On one side, the government is compensating victims, and on the other side, two people are being killed in Homa Bay.
#KTNPrime
@scherargei Funny because they said the same thing about a first time senator from Illinois who became the leader of the free world for 8 years. Looks like he is in good company. #sifuna
@Georgeruto001 You should delete this post it won’t age well! You should maybe consult someone who is in touch with reality of majority of Kenyan citizens not the 1% thieves!
Exonerated
He was there when the complaint was made,
there when the officers were sent,
there when the journey began,
there when every movement was reported.
He was there when Albert was taken,
there when power became a weapon,
there when a young man was dragged far from home,
there when fear was meant to serve as an example.
Then Albert died.
Suddenly, the chain broke.
The briefings vanished.
The orders became whispers.
The senior man became a stranger.
Junior officers were left holding the blood,
while the powerful washed their hands
and called it exoneration.
But how do you clear the man
who stood at every door
until death entered the room?
How do you erase his shadow
from a story where it followed Albert
from the complaint
to the arrest
to the final breath?
They may clear his name on paper,
but Kenyans can still read the trail.
You cannot be present at every step,
then disappear only when the body appears.
#ArrestEliudLagat
The growing focus on junior officers in the Albert Ojwang case should not stop Kenyans from asking why Eliud Lagat appears to be drifting away from the centre of the story.
Albert was arrested over a complaint linked to Lagat, transported from Homa Bay to Nairobi and later died in police custody, yet responsibility now appears to be narrowing around those lower in the chain.
That should worry everyone.
The State may present arrests, CCTV footage and selected details as proof that justice is being done, but accountability cannot end with the people who carried out the operation while the senior officer whose complaint triggered it is treated like a distant observer.
Kenyans must not be carried in a stupid way.
If junior officers must answer, then the country must also be told what role Eliud Lagat played, what instructions were issued, who approved Albert’s movement and who expected reports from those handling him.
There were reports that Albert was removed from the cell at Central Police Station and taken to meet a senior National Police Service official at Karura forest torture chambers and it was at this point he was tortured in the presence of this senior official till he collapsed and died, they returned a body to Central Police station to stage a crime scene......
A command structure cannot be visible when orders are being followed and suddenly disappear when a citizen dies.
No one is asking that Lagat be convicted without evidence, but neither should he quietly walk free while those below him carry the entire burden.
The real test of this investigation is whether the full chain of command will be exposed, including Eliud Lagat’s role, without fear, favour or selective protection.
@C_NyaKundiH Lagat must and should be fired by now and should face justice as regular criminal. That should be the minimum for justice to prevail. Otherwise he will interfere with investigations to avoid arrest.
