@Cassius_Reborn@lauriewired yes, i connected my EUV machine to public wifi ONCE just so I could "like" its arduous work, and now all my wafers are lewd. not acceptable
A megaracist's go-to comparison involving dreams of slavery? Shocking. You lot are retarded in too many ways, how is suspension the only repercussion for rulebreaking any of you can imagine? Bigger deterrent for some disruptive punk "you get to skip school" or something like "your entire summer break will be cancelled"? lol
@memeticsisyphus@MetricReject They've already been disrupted tho so the only perfectly rational thing is to look strictly at future outcomes. You lot like to discipline more than you care about other things (such as success for the individual, society etc) is all.
@whittomd@memeticsisyphus Put prison inmates in classrooms and have their job be to stop any and all such nonsense before anything suspendable can transpire? Give the infringing student their own adult in general (special needs coded = other kids will bully them into submission)
@memeticsisyphus@MetricReject So does the infringing kid being kept away help the other kids or not I'm losing track why exactly are we doing this again
@MetricReject@memeticsisyphus whoever that is looks cool, anyways you were really onto something there with the inmates. sentencing regular nonviolent criminals to supervise kids is fucking brilliant cuts down on prison load and brings much needed suspension-preventive resources into classrooms, good job!
@charlie61713981@memeticsisyphus well our class was fucked up for a while so the teacher got an angry bodybuilder to sit next to her who would scream at anyone too loud and beat up kids during recess
not saying that's optimal just that there are plenty options here
@whittomd@memeticsisyphus how about "do almost anything, whatever it takes that might give even an inkling of a chance of any kind of actual long run difference because if nothing else antisocial adults are really fucking expensive to have around"
also don't give up on kids and also don't beat kids
@MetricReject@memeticsisyphus just trying to show you overly feels-based folk this is not binary, your opinions are on the same sliding spectrum as everyone else's and your instinctive attempted vibe of "natural grounding" around your position is total bullshit hth
One strike even a little one and you're out forever starting age 3 is good because it removes disruptive students from classrooms. That's good because disruptive students severely impact the learning environment of their peers. That it does nothing for the disruptive student is - not to put too fine a point on it - totally irrelevant.
@Noahpinion compare # acid cooks (yield: desirable, nice, random friends impressed, money) which has detailed instructions for how to do it, with [horrible things also w/ detailed instr available right now + before], with [AI biow w/ detailed instr]...
needs whole human to prompt + do
nope
@Noahpinion But yeah the entire notion sure does rest entirely on folks being rational enough actors who know what's good for them. Didn't go so well with Putin...
