I hear the press have got hold of some pictures and so I have been forced to make this statement. Needless to say, I apologise. https://t.co/mNRsQ57iTF
I wouldn't have qualified as a teacher if I hadn't started attend parkrun regularly.
So, when I'm running, I'm going to be running in aid of SAMH and if you fancy sponsoring me, that would be wonderful. If you don't/can't that's totally reasonable.

Like everyone my age, this is the year I turn 40.
To celebrate, in September I am running the Loch Ness Marathon.
While running has huge fitness benefits, the mental health benefits I have noticed since getting back into running in 2017 have been huge.
If you’ve not seen Godzilla Minus One, let me be yet another person to suggest you rectify that situation.
The more I think about, the more I’m sure it’s the best Godzilla film I’ve seen.
Over the last year I have read Days Like These by @brian_bilston and Word Perfect by @susie_dent And they have been fantastic breakfast companions. Often funny, often sad, always interesting.
I read Ask A Historian by Greg Jenner. It's wonderfully bitesize and full of excellent takes on history you think you know and history you've never heard of but really should have.
I read Can I Have My Ball Back @Herring1967 which, despite being an avid RHLSTP (RHLSTP!) listener and listening to the accompanying CIHMBB podcast, was a really informative, sad and funny read. You should read it if you have testicles, 1 testicle, or none.
I read The Falling Sky by Pippa Goldschmidt. Just like her short stories, it's a beautiful depiction of what it means to be working today in science, and trying to be a human at the same time.
I just wish there was more of her writing to read.
