We changed two irrigation motors from the last blowing snowstorm. One way to prevent the inconvenience is to put a trash bag over the motor.

STOCK WATER COWBOYS. Reminder to protect or inspect VHS motors from blowing snow the next couple of days. The snow can blow in the bottom of the motor and when the motor is started it sucks the moisture across the windings and you end up with a burnt up motor. Be Safe!

BE PROACTIVE. Take a couple minutes to check the fittings for your well or pressure tank. Rusted fittings can cause contamination to your drinking water or even flood a well pit or basement. We see this several times a year.
