@DudeImZach@mealdealtruther Sure, but everyone should be able to see it in the filmed aspect ratio, even if we don’t live within easy driving distance of an IMAX theater.
@MarRose91@RenardReads I mean, trade paperbacks have always been more expensive than mass-markets, too — I get that’s partly OP’s point, but the trade paperback on the left is cheaper in real dollars than the first trade edition from 2006 I can find for the same book!
@Natterforme@RenardReads Sure, but the number of people actually getting paid the minimum wage or less has gone down, because real wages have generally gone up.
@sifferkontot@hecubian_devil Ok, but the allies were citizens of their own communities, Rome drew more than half its manpower from them, and they got a share of the winnings. As underclasses go, that’s not very “under”, especially compared to the Hellenistic kingdoms.
@CatcherDAO@RadioFreeTom Conservative voters have been very clear over the last 10 years about the things they want, and those things are bad! To the extent they’re also stupid, it’s about believing things that are demonstrably wrong and lead them to vote in ways that directly harm them.
@suchnerve I once watched a person be nine months pregnant during summer in the lower Midwest; I would have given up *any* information under that kind of torture.
@simplymorgn I’ve had two of these, and they’re a real gift. I would sometimes get visibility into what one of them kept off the team, and it was just an absolute torrent of garbage.
