My first internship as a college freshman was in Ann’s DC office. It’s crazy to think how many professional opportunities I’ve had, and friendships I’ve made, from being a part of #TeamKirkpatrick.

Ann epitomizes public service, and AZ will be worse off without her in DC.

Most importantly though, is that the conversations our team had were with voters who we’d never been able to reach by phone or text.

This team is responsible for thousands of votes cast, and in a close election. That will make the difference.

It’s crazy to think that is was only 40 days ago when @a_nem and I first talked about “Voter Activation Centers”. Since them, @MissionForAZ has scouted, opened, and staffed 11 VACs across Arizona. Now, with so much on the line, our 16-person VAC team is pulling through big time.

I’m so grateful to have been able to lead this team alongside @HeathButrum and #TheCapitals and @hereismariae and the #Podfathers. Despite an insane number of flags, and up against the clock, Heath and Maria built strong teams, and put up truly massive numbers!

1) First time I didn’t get to vote for @kyrstensinema

2) First time I voted for a man for any federal office

@dougducey was one of the last to enact stay-at-home & one of the first to lift stay-at-home despite the fact that Az hadn’t met the CDC guidelines for Phase 1 reopening. Today, Az doesn’t meet a single indicator of Phase 1.
