New: @MassCEC paid @EPRINews $379K to study impacts of climate targets on electric system. EPRI submitted report in 2023, finding that $27B-$46B in investments are needed.
Three years later, after MassCEC never posted it, we got our hands on it. #mapoli https://t.co/gzJRDOstSA
Lobbying has been part of our tool since March. Other sites are adding it now. While they are playing catch up. You should be using https://t.co/nGg4ECAOEu. Always first. #mapoli
“I'm pro-human.” says Brad Gerstner of @altcap. “I think we need to train the models so that humans stay in control, and they're subject to the conditions and the law of humans.” https://t.co/BWx8LYp7pS
Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.
BIG development coming to Plainville, Massachusetts.
Toll Brothers has purchased the former 200+ acre Heather Hill Country Club for $18.7 MILLION, with plans for 384 homes, including 57 single-family houses.
Nearly 100 acres will be preserved as public open space.
The House takes up its version of the Governor’s $2.35B supplemental budget today. Here’s what happened between her bill and theirs, section by section.
Governor’s bill (H.5679): 204 sections. House Ways and Means redraft (H.5699): 131.
Ten of the Governor’s sections survive word for word, renumbered. Her §12 is the House’s §38. Her §159 is their §80.
Not in the House bill, in any wording: the two-month gas tax suspension. The ticket-pricing act. The Health Care Stabilization Fund, both the section creating it and the section funding it. And a chapter 156D corporate-law rewrite that ran sixty-plus sections and hasn’t made a headline.
The $600 million transfer to the Stabilization Fund survived, with one word changed: “the act of 2025” became “the acts of 2025.”
“Reported, in part” means everything else is still in committee.

The more AI you use the more human things you should do on the other side. Sports, concerts, parks, friends, family, clubs, other things involving people. Professional: what is uniquely human that you are good at. Develop that skill. We are hitting the all at once phase of this. Slowly will only hold for so long.
This illustrates the point I’ve been making about the limits of centralized approaches to SI safety in cyber.
OpenCode (and earlier Hugging Face) hit the same wall mid-attack: frontier models refused to analyze the very exploits needed for defense because the payloads tripped safety filters. The guardrails backfired.
Meanwhile, the attackers found a way around restrictions to access advanced capabilities. This is not surprising. Chinese models are only about 6–9 months behind the American frontier in cyber. Obviously the U.S. has no jurisdiction over them.
The only durable response is decentralized: make powerful models available so defenders can build and run their own cyber defenses. The only solution to SI-powered cyberattacks is SI-powered cyber defense.
