The most corrupt President in American history also has an extremely corrupt Cabinet.
Donald Trump and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick have used their positions to funnel millions of dollars to themselves and their sons, all while Americans are struggling with daily expenses.
@atrupar The real reason: Putin ordered Trump not to grant the licence to build patriots. Trump obeys because he wants his potential business deals in Russia. He doesn't give a damn (with a 'n' at the end) about Ukraine and wants Zelensky to surrender the Donbas.
VP @KamalaHarris: These midterms are coming up, and we have to do the work of telling people, check your voter registration status. Make sure you aren't one of those people whose names got purged inappropriately. Turning out the vote in the greatest numbers we have ever seen, so that in this environment where they are cheating, we will be too big to rig.
He doesn't care anymore. It's just non-stop, in-your-face corruption.
The latest? If you pay Trump $100,000 a month, he will give you advance White House announcements on economic and trade policy.

🚨BREAKING: Palestinian child Yaamen Baroud has died after battling cancer in Gaza, where Israel’s genocidal war has devastated the healthcare system. With treatment unavailable and medical evacuation repeatedly obstructed, he was denied the chance to receive lifesaving care outside Gaza.
His death highlights the catastrophic reality facing cancer patients in Gaza, where hundreds remain without access to essential treatment or the ability to leave for urgent medical care.
Together, we're asking Governor Gavin Newsom to take action to commute all death sentences in California, a move that would significantly change the face of the death penalty in the U.S., as well as create new global momentum toward abolition.

What is happening inside the military with promotions and firings: We have a ton of people who are being removed from promotion lists. They’re being recommended by those in uniform, and they are being stripped out by Pete Hegseth.
Just this year, 40 military officers have been forcibly removed from those promotion lists. Over half of them are either women, or people of color. There seems to be a pointed effort to get rid of people who are not white men who are on the promotion list by merit.
What I am hearing about from folks in uniform is a new secret vetting process where people in the Department of Defense are looking at someone’s social media history. Looking at whether they attended a Pride event or that they posted something on their personal Facebook page about Martin Luther King Day.
I am hearing from a ton of people who have been career military officers who are saying, “look if anyone of color or if every woman is being stripped out of these lists, how am I to understand who and how can get promoted.”
I’m hearing young people, particularly young women and young officers of color, who are saying to me, “I planned to be in the military for 20 or 30 years, but now I feel like there is going to be a ceiling on me succeeding in this institution. No one’s ever going to give me a merit-based promotion and so maybe I’ll retire. Maybe I’ll get out early.”
So, between morale and loss of qualified senior enlisted and senior officers, we are seeing a real change in our military that's affecting things not just at the top level, but also all the way down to our most junior officers. That does not make us safe. We want the military to be the best fighting force it can be, and it can’t do that when its morale is being tested and people are leaving.
We should all spend the rest of our lives weeping over our helplessness in the face of this tragedy.
She lost her three children at the beginning of the war. Later, she gave birth to another baby and named him Zaid—her last hope. But at dawn today, Zaid was killed in an airstrike that hit a home in the Bureij refugee camp in the Gaza Strip. 💔
It’s a good thing there were so many warnings about the upcoming massive russian attack. It’s also a good thing people had time to get to the subway and other shelters.
But right now, more Ukrainians are choosing to shelter than at any other point since the full-scale invasion began in 2022.
One of the reasons is that this summer, russians have increasingly targeted residential civilian buildings with ballistic missiles. These are among the most difficult threats to intercept, and without enough Patriot air defense systems and interceptor missiles, they can strike their intended targets.
When a ballistic missile hits a residential building, hiding in a bathroom, behind two walls, or sometimes even in the basement of that same building may not be enough. The impact can destroy entire sections of a building, leaving families with little chance of survival. That’s why, during attacks like these, the safest place is a deep, purpose-built shelter.
There are two clear conclusions.
Ukraine urgently needs more Patriot air defense systems and interceptor missiles.
And Ukraine needs military reform and to reinstate Mykhailo Fedorov. Because this winter will be even harder.
Israel’s ongoing genocide in the besieged Gaza strip is further limiting health services for Palestinians, as the enclave is suffering from a health crisis caused by a shortage in CT scans, leading to worsening medical issues.

Israeli attacks cause more than 10 children per day lose a limb in Gaza and it has been going on at this rate for months.

This is a crime against humanity.
"I've lost everyone. My parents. My brothers and sisters. My son..."
Ukrainian Defender Danylo Voronov lost his entire family in a Russian strike on Radushne, Dnipropetrovsk region.
At the moment a Russian ballistic missile hit their home, his parents, seven brothers and sisters, and his 1.5-year-old son, Artem, were inside.
Danylo says Artem was a cheerful little boy who was always smiling and loved pressing the keys of a piano. His family believed he had a gift for music.
This is an unimaginable tragedy.
Deepest condolences to Danylo.
May he find the strength to endure this devastating loss.

I thought FIFA boss Gianni Infantino was a force for good in football.
I was wrong.
The shameful Balogun fiasco was bad enough, but his greedy, tawdry attempt to flog off the World Cup is beyond the pale.
He must go.
🚨HEARTBREAKING: A mother documented the terrifying moments her young daughter endures every time the sound of Israeli missiles and nearby airstrikes shakes their home in Gaza.
🚨Heart Wrenching: 15 year old Dima Shukokani from Gaza is fighting to survive after an Israeli strike left her with a severe head injury, shrapnel wounds, and burns across her body.

Why doesn't the media talk about Sudan?
Sudan is bleeding. Sudanese women face drones by day and rape by night. Sudan's war has set off the world's largest hunger crisis, as the fighting continues to devastate lives and livelihoods.
Don't be indifferent to Sudan
