@BruinsMedia11 Or Raddysh simply didn’t want to stay in Tampa. Just because a lot of people like it there, doesn’t mean everyone wants to play there. His mom lives in Toronto and he lost his dad to cancer this year. Likely wants to be closer to family
@seanhhm Leafs are kind of forced into that position anyway. Don’t have a first for the next two years. They have to be competitive or at least a playoff team.
@caniacally@hulljacob@JustWanaBS I know it’s insane hype, but McKenna is specifically labeled as a powerplay specialist with a similar skill set to Kucherov. Likely won’t be by any means immediately that good, but has that ceiling.
@PierreLucMathi1@GreeceRevival He’s in a premium position. Top pairing RHD are not cheap. You have to pay to play. Obviously there is risk, and I don’t expect him to be a 70pt guy. But he’ll likely be a 50pt top pairing guy for the first 5 years.
@basstrd70@NYRLouie Which given how shit their pp has been for the past two seasons… The powerplay has been actively hurting them. But outside of that, Raddysh has been a fantastic player especially in the analytics department. Lots of things to like outside of pp1.
@FacelessHockey@Derek_N_NHL I saw that the lowest the leafs can qualify him for is 1.6million. Which means they wouldn’t be able to fully bury him. I think the leafs just don’t qualify him.
@FacelessHockey@Derek_N_NHL He’s an RFA. He isn’t currently under contract. Which is what makes it confusing. Philly could have just not qualified him.
@TMLJaysNiners@reaIGladiator@thatssoleafy77 Just needs to be sheltered a bit, but the leafs really struggled with winning their minutes with the bottom pair. Andrae should help there
