Here's a question for those of you who read my tweets:
What defines / governs the purpose of a thing?
Now I am going to frame that question with a bit more context in my subsequent tweets. You can just answer the question above if you don't need added context.
@Jcanguy Normally failed experiments don't continue for this long.
Of the two scenarios, one would be an affront to humanity. And the other would be the end of the human race.
I said some years ago that the JCF is a state-sanctioned killing agency. And on a technical level, this is true. Officers are empowered to take lives where necessary. The crux is that "where necessary"
If everything is above board, JCF should welcome scutiny.
Idk man, is hundreds of dead citizens at the hands of the cops really a big deal if we lower a high crime rate?… is exactly the kind of question a sociopath would ask.
@BattyMatilda @Felinical @ambrosia_omG I'm alive so that's the good news. I still have no interest at all in Twitter right now so if you wanna check in, you can use my email or get my contact info in the DM.
@BattyMatilda@JamaisonTweets I'm learning as you are both giving me this information. In such an instance, the only way to know the best possible salary is for the employer to tell you outright?
I'm asking these questions from a good place. I *know* many employers will low ball if candidates are naive.
Forgivable for a 23 yo, I suppose. But like, it's not common practice to research the salary range for a post before you go for an interview?
If an employer calls me on Monday for a job interview on Tuesday, I am spending the rest of my day finding out what that job should pay.
My niece was offered a tech job. No experience. The panel asked what were her salary requirements. My niece, 23, had no clue & underbidded herself. THE BLACK LADY on the panel disconnected the live “accidentally,” called my niece cell phone n told her what to ask for. THIS IS IT!
The tension between politicians, scientists and experts has become palpable in recent months, amid differing perceptions of how best to defeat the Omicron strain of coronavirus. But surely the numbers don’t lie? So why is Covid modelling so controversial? https://t.co/cyTDKWWCsy
@Jcanguy I feel like there is a place where civil people (both believers and non-believers) intersect. A place where this no judgement or othering, just an acknowledgment of a difference is belief.
The truth is that science does not (and probably cannot) know if a supreme being exists.
