When I gaze at the beauty of nature around the world and can only access it through a phone screen, I ask myself: is it because I was born in a place I didn’t choose that I’m forced to endure things no human should ever have to bear or even imagine the horror of?

Just the thought that I might live and die having experienced nothing in life but pain, loss, and tears, while knowing that there’s a beautiful side of the world I will never reach because of a geographical coincidence, drives me mad every single day.
