@MLBTV needs to relook their blackout zip codes for states without an @MLB team. We're in central NC. Networks and cable channels do NOT broadcast @Orioles or @Natsbaseballmlb games, but we're blacked out. Hubs is a @yankees fan and I follow the @whitesox. NC blackouts = bogus
@ABCNewsLive@NBCNews@cnnbrk@CBSNews@FoxNews Stop calling this a "protest." A group of people who disregard the rule of law and the US Constitution is an attempted #coup. At least call it a violent disruption. This conduct is not protected by the #FirstAmendment
@Lowes warranty service is great until it's not. A not inexpensive @SamsungUS dishwasher can't be repaired under extended warranty. After 2 weeks and 5 calls to customer service, was told "2 more days." I'm sure there will be a new excuse next week. #CustomerService#excuses
@DeptVetAffairs is anyone tracking #COVID19 deaths/hospitalizations of veterans on the #burnpit registry or with OIF/OEF combat tours? Or those with other #serviceconnected respiratory issues?
NC voter here. NDAA FY20's parental leave provision is fantastic, until you realize that it's not effective for any birth or adoption in FY20. Change to FMLA effective 1 OCT 21. Why the delay, @SenThomTillis@SenatorBurr?
@IvankaTrump Paid family leave effective in October -- not helpful for 10+ months. Great effort, but unnecessarily delayed. Will this be fodder for compromise later? Repealed in the next NDAA??
@John10Hoeve Read the bill (HR 2500) -- it's an amendment to FMLA and does NOT require the employee to use sick leave. 12 weeks paid. But it's not effective for births/adoptions before 1 OCT 2020.
@SenatorLeahy That provision has a 1 OCT 2020 effective date. So a birth on 30 SEP 2019 isn't covered. Great step forward, but it should be effective immediately.
@FCWnow Why isn't the paid parental leave provision effective until 1 OCT 2020? No one is reporting on this as an FY21 provision. Adoptive/birth parents before 1 OCT 2020 miss out?
@jenna_dc@thehill Agree it's a great provision, but no one has reported the 1 OCT 20 effective date. So families with births/adoptions before 1 OCT 2020 are just left out? Concerned that FY21 NDAA will just repeal it!
@TeamTrump@IvankaTrump@realDonaldTrump So why isn't it effective until FY21? Expectant mothers are completely left out, since the effective date is 1 OCT 2021!!
