I believe this cover is my most impressive work to date and I'm excited to finally be sharing it. 😁

I kinda love this painting. There is just something about it. The relaxed pose, the cool light from the window, the subtle warms of the underpainting adding life to the image.

Painting my girlfriend is always a pleasure too

#Figuary2020 Part 3/3

This challenge not only got me back into the habit of learning and creating art, it also helped me get out and attend local life drawing sessions again at The Art Room in Footscray.

Thanks again to @lovelifedrawing and @CroquisCafe

Happy #Mermay !

I definitely didn't start this piece in 2019 and then finish it 6 months later and then sit on it for another 6 months until it was relevant again... that would be ridiculous.

One of my favourite gags from Laurel and Hardy is when Stan uses his thumb to create a flame for his cigarette. After watching 'Stan and Ollie (2018)' I couldn't help but try to paint it.
