Astar become the most successful project among parachain. So, What’s next?

🌐 Web2 Branding and Partnerships

One of the most important topics in the Web3 and blockchain world is reaching the end user. While many projects provide significant infrastructure technology, they face considerable challenges in reaching everyday users.

About 1.5 years ago, the Astar Network team established the company Startale to solve this problem and bring Web3 to billions of users with a vision.

With Startale, the Astar team:

• Launched the Soneium network on the Optimism platform in collaboration with Sony.
• Soneium became the first network created by a major technology company on blockchain.
• Started development processes for blockchain adaptations after receiving investment from Samsung.

In addition to giants like Samsung and Sony, collaborations were established with leading companies in Japan such as Mazda, Mitsubishi, Calbee, and Toyota.

It became the largest project among parachains in the Polkadot ecosystem, working directly with companies and enabling Web3 adoption for Web2 users.

📊 Significant Liquidity with Superchain

With the Soneium network launched in collaboration with Sony as part of Astar Network Evolution Phase 1, the team’s next goal is to reach a significant source of liquidity.

Having achieved important milestones on Polkadot, the team, through the Optimism Superchain, will be able to:

• Access liquidity from various Layer 2 networks such as @Base, Op Mainnet, Mode Network, and Zora Network.
• Also aims to make Astr Token usable across multiple networks with @chainlink CCIP support.
• Thanks to CCIP, it will have a total ecosystem integration worth $17 trillion.

In addition, with Astar Evolution Phase 1.5, the team plans to integrate various projects into the dApp staking program on the Superchain, increasing ASTR token usage and supporting developers in this ecosystem.

This will act as a significant bridge between the Polkadot ecosystem and Optimism, becoming a key ecosystem unifier across both networks.

👨🏻‍💻 Long-Term Benefits of Soneium:

In the long run, Soneium has not only secured a significant position in both the Polkadot ecosystem and the Optimism network, but it has also marked a major milestone in blockchain history. For the first time, a global technology giant like Sony has officially stepped into the blockchain world.

With the Soneium network, Astar Network has become more prominent, especially in these ecosystems:

• They will be an integral part of the significant transformation in the GameFi sector.
• They will enable cooperative interoperability with PlayStation, one of the most widely used gaming console providers in the world.
• They will also offer innovative solutions in other areas such as entertainment, music, and cinema.

With the Spark program launched by Soneium, it has already started hosting important projects. The team’s next goal is to enrich the Web3 world by increasing the integration of projects that focus on everyday life and provide significant solutions.

Astar Network’s role here will naturally establish an off-chain bridge between Polkadot and Optimism.
