In Hong Kong, grief is turning to anger.
I was live on Swedish broadcaster @svt Morgonstudion to talk about the political aftermath of the tragedy—and to explain how it feels to visit the site of the fire.
It was a pleasure to meet with HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during my visit to Saudi Arabia. In the words of the Crown Prince, “all success stories start with a vision”. @SaudiVision2030 is an impressive development programme that is bringing prosperity to Saudi Arabia, to the region, and internationally. From hosting EXPO 2030 and the 2034 FIFA World Cup, to building NEOM - a city of the future, the Crown Prince has proven himself to be a visionary leader.
Throughout the trip I strived to highlight the significant climate threat that desertification poses to Mongolia. The progress made at @Cop16Riyadh is a testament to the power of global unity in addressing this challenge. I’m proud to announce that Mongolia will host ‘COP17’ in 2026, reaffirming our commitment to climate action.
It was a privilege to be the first Mongolian Prime Minister to visit the Kingdom of Bahrain and meet with His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa @BahrainCPnews the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. I especially enjoyed the warm hospitality of the friendly Bahraini people.
HRH the Crown Prince and I are committed to strengthening the friendship and bilateral relationship between our two countries. As proud and historic nations of rich ancestry, we agreed to mutually support each other, pursuing a new phase of economic, trade, and investment cooperation to create new shared opportunities.
I cherish the vision, wisdom, and leadership that His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan @MohamedBinZayed has exhibited over many years and during my working visit to the United Arab Emirates - Mongolia’s important third neighbour and nomadic brother. I leave the UAE feeling very close to the people of this great nation, inspired by their journey to prosperity.
For thousands of years, Mongolians and Arabs looked to the moon for guidance and light in the night sky along the Silk Road. Even today, the moon holds special meaning for both countries—a symbol representing guidance for dynamic and always-moving people.
I look forward to a closer partnership with the UAE in critical areas such as energy, minerals, and tourism, building on our true brotherhood and solid friendship to serve the best interests of our people.
@OyunerdeneMN@BahrainCPnews Really good to see that Mongolia is strengthening its relations with the Gulf states.
Mongolia's "third neighbour" policy is one of the main themes in my book about the country, The Wolf Economy Awakens.

Congratulations to Prime Minsiter Oyun-Erdene and his MPP for winning the parliamentary elections in #Mongolia.
I've interviewed the PM during several sessions – as well as opposition leaders – for my latest book, "The Wolf Economy Awakens".

Hallå? Var är alla? Den underligaste upplevelsen när jag korsade gränsen till Fastlandskina från Hongkong för första gången sedan utbrottet av pandemin var slående – en nästan total avsaknad av utländska ansikten.
