Last night we held an SSG bio-banding event within our Academy ⚽️. Players and teams split based on yPHV, and current stage of growth. Creating a more ‘equal’ physical challenge for players U12 to U15 @KilmarnockFC with RPE and player feedback collected 👍.
💙 We are delighted to confirm the appointment of Derek McInnes as our new men's first-team manager on a three-year contract.
Joining him will be assistants Alan Archibald, Paul Sheerin and Craig Clark.

Robbies Story - please read and share
Earlier this year, at just 30 years old and only three weeks before the birth of his daughter, Robbie was diagnosed with glioblastoma (Grade 4 brain cancer), one of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer. The diagnosis came completely out of the blue and has changed his family’s lives overnight.
Robbie is a loving father to two beautiful girls, a devoted partner, a son, a brother and a friend to so many people. He is also a lifelong Rangers supporter and season ticket holder in the Copland Stand (CF2).
Whilst there is currently no cure for glioblastoma, Robbie is courageously undergoing treatment and exploring every possible option to give him more precious time with the people he loves most. Unfortunately, NHS treatment options are limited, and any additional treatments that may help extend Robbie’s life would need to be funded privately. As friends and family, we are doing everything we can to raise funds to give Robbie hope and the opportunity to access those treatments.
To support Robbie and his family, we are organising a charity football event followed by a race night. Any donations, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.
Please find below the fundraising page for Robbie.
Many thanks for your support

Today marks the 8th anniversary of the sad passing of former player and academy coach, Matthew Craig.
Matthew had been with the club since joining the youth team at the under-11 age group, then turning to youth coaching.
Our thoughts continue to be with his friends and family on the anniversary of his passing ♥️
We can confirm that Chris Burke has departed his role as head of development/Under-19s coach as he wishes to pursue a new opportunity.
Everyone at the club would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Chris for his outstanding service since joining as a player in 2017.
