I think it’s insanity to say a small guard using screens takes no skill and actually mean it.
There’s so much reading of the court and multiple defenders at once, while controlling dozens of inputs in a matter of seconds, and sometimes even having to tell people what to do all at the same time.
There’s also a tremendous amount of trust put into someone to play big with you while playing that way to do their job properly. An awful center will sabotage even the best guard if they’ve got no idea what they’re doing. Hence even hidden skill in that role where the best at it clearly set themselves apart from others.
It’s either blind hate or dudes playing narratives to sit there and say there’s “no skill” behind any of it.
