@luckilyenough IMAX is designed to consume your whole vision (including peripheral), so they have to have something there to maintain that experience...but it's not meant to be "important".
In a normal theater, you already see the screen edges so there's no point in "peripheral vision filler".
@DavidLeavitt After all Hasbro has done to date (the attempted hijack of the OGL was the last straw for me), it's hard to understand why anybody doesn't just switch to Pathfinder. I guess if you _really_ didn't like D&D 3.5E...
@allenanalysis ATTENTION NON-MAGA
Wouldn't it be great if we got results like this consistently by having a solid majority and not have to cross our fingers that some of the MAGA trash will decide to temporarily cosplay as human beings?

@downbadcomment ...he _doesn't_ have to spend a bunch on a traditional date. If she's big into gardening then while yes obviously weeding is work, it could easily mean more than that to her...the zen of gardening, etc. If that's where it came from then IMO green flag for wholesome intent. //
@downbadcomment Personally I've got a standing objection to any arrangement that puts one party on a pedestal that the other party must work to please; I'm looking for an equal, not a princess.
having said that
It's quite possible this is a deliberate attempt on her part to make it so... 1/
@todayyearsold ...less suited to more usual toaster oven stuff. Personally I think it's best to get something that looks like toaster oven (because that's what it is) that says air fryer...so in that case you've got all the usual toaster oven uses, as well as an "air fryer mode" where... 2/
@DiscussingFilm I haven't seen the movie so I can't comment on that one way or another, but what I DO want to stop and say is that I agree 1000% that we need to kick the era of chic apathy and calculated, socially-filtered passion to the curb where it belongs.
@KILLTOPARTY That last sentence has a bit of a "this is where things took a turn" undertone, but...fingers crossed! A little much to spend on a first date IMO, but maybe he hasn't dated much (or it's been a while); he'll figure it out. Maybe they covered _a lot_ of ground in that week.
@KateCornell I've been seeing a lot of this on my timeline lately; did Microsoft change something about its licensing recently? Sounds like it sucks to be an MS Office main these days.
@Chris_H_Politic@patdennis Yeah, totally. Man, I tell you what, it's a good thing for the people of Gaza that Harris didn't get elected, am I right? Woo boy they really dodged a bullet there. Can you imagine what would be happening there now if they didn't have Trump to protect themโฝ
@kingcasterx@VoteHub@Political_Data Spread the word; it's harder to fall into apathy if you know you have a one-stop shop to get the voting info you need. Also means you don't miss a candidate you like just because they didn't have a huge ad budget.
@Martin396929701 I mean, it's pretty straightforward. He's got insurance, he's got video footage of her doing it. What's the alternative? She's a woman, he's a man...we all know it doesn't end well for him if he tries to physically stop her. Might as well enjoy dinner and make the best of it.
@awkwardgoogle For all the people dunking on this: it's the scheduling part that's the point. Being able to have breakfast ready when you get up is nice; same as coffee makers with timers.
Of course, you still might not think it's worth it...but at least acknowledge the real point. ๐
