Retired... and loving it!

[JohnMaxwell @john59maxwell]

@JeremyVineOn5 Continual talk about taxing pensioners.... give it a rest FFS and that's me being polite. These 'pensioners' are your parents or grandparents, and you want to make them poorer, so if you want to be written out of their will, just crack on! Winging and bitching about everything!

[JohnMaxwell @john59maxwell]

@GMB As reported below, there is no such thing as a seagull, but there are many varieties of Gull, many of which are not a 'problem'. The breed causing much of this hysteria is the Herring Gull and maybe they're just pissed off us humans don't call them by their actual name... 🤨🤔😡

[JohnMaxwell @john59maxwell]

@JeremyVineOn5 We live in South Gloucestershire and quite often don't put out the 'general' bin as food waste, plastics, glass, tins, paper, cardboard are collected separately... not a problem. Save money (🤔😕😜) talk about the two mile long cycle track and Park and Ride no one uses 😂🤣😂🤣

[JohnMaxwell @john59maxwell]

@JeremyVineOn5 OTT indeed... 3 days in a row.. plenty of notice given. Royal mail is responsible for stamps not Post Office. Stamps should be applied in Top Right Corner so wouldn't be surprised if your example still got rejected/delayed. It's not rocket science...

[JohnMaxwell @john59maxwell]

@JeremyVineOn5 Well done, Veronica... no discipline in schools, at home, anywhere... she told the panelist to stop interrupting ... he did, he's an adult, typically kids would just ignore that request even if you were literally screaming at them to do so....

[JohnMaxwell @john59maxwell]

@JeremyVineOn5 Starmer & Co try to take credit for leaving thr 'Triple Lock' in place (nope) so do they also wish to take credit for leaving the PA freeze in place until 2028 (extended in 2022 by Hunt)....

[JohnMaxwell @john59maxwell]

@GMB Nah!... this doesn't need legislation! When we had time wasting debates at work, we would simply say 'This is a JFDI and get on with it.' Government just wants to take credit for enforcing something that already happens.. needs more focus by schools and parents.. no excuses JFDI.

[JohnMaxwell @john59maxwell]

@JeremyVineOn5 Yeah!.. this isn't about the clothes... it's about the requirement to declare the 'gift'.. his adviser said he didn't have to but Starmer should have realized the fuss that would be caused by the media as a consequence of not doing so....

[JohnMaxwell @john59maxwell]

@JeremyVineOn5 It's pay back... isn't it.... left a mess themselves in 2010 (allegedly)..... you wanted the job so JFDI....

[JohnMaxwell @john59maxwell]

@JeremyVineOn5 ... or some might say 'if you get good enough grades, you can stay on to do your A Levels... if you don't you're out and will need to get a job! Same conversation might occur at the A Level to college/uni stage......

[JohnMaxwell @john59maxwell]

@JeremyVineOn5 @MarinaPurkiss @Ommasalma @theJeremyVine Of course they are going to blame the Conservatives, as they blamed Labour in 2010. Remember, the line from The Who's epic ' Won't be Fooled Again.... '... Meet the new boss, Same as the old boss'....

[JohnMaxwell @john59maxwell]

@JeremyVineOn5 @estherckrakue @Kevin_Maguire @StormHuntley Unrealistic, depending on occupation. May have a starting level and you progress based upon a performance review. If someone is doing the job better, they get an increase, if they are not, they don't.. sort that out, why don't you!

[JohnMaxwell @john59maxwell]

@JeremyVineOn5 @thecarolemalone @Kevin_Maguire @theJeremyVine Professional dancing is a very exacting discipline & no doubt the professional go through rigorous training, to reach the levels required in their profession. The BBC need to find 'celebrities' who can rise to requirements of the training, and has anything actually been proved?

[JohnMaxwell @john59maxwell]

@JeremyVineOn5 @narindertweets @cristo_radio @StormHuntley There has to be a 'balance'... in our practice you ring in and ask for a call back and then GP can decide if you need to be seen after a chat. Obviously depends on individual situation. The NHS app is also very useful...

[JohnMaxwell @john59maxwell]

@JeremyVineOn5 @narindertweets @cristo_radio @StormHuntley Usual story, but he got them further, twice, than any other post '66... mindset is if you win.. `you had a great team'... if you lose.. 'it's the managers fault!!!

[JohnMaxwell @john59maxwell]

@itvfootball ... one of the 'pundits' said "with respect, England are ranked 5th and Slovakia 45th...what he didn't mention that as at 20th June England were down 2 places from 3rd and Slovakia up 2 from 47th...the moral of the story is to keep your gob shut as it's all about the game now!

[JohnMaxwell @john59maxwell]

@itvfootball @ITV ... is it really necessary to have an hour of twaddle before each match?

[JohnMaxwell @john59maxwell]

@JeremyVineOn5 @Bobby_Seagull @theJeremyVine There is a huge difference between saying what you like when in opposition and being in power. Starmers first words behind closed doors may well be 'what do we do now? .... anyone? Time will tell! 🤔

[JohnMaxwell @john59maxwell]

@BBCNews Hmm! £30k gross nets down to £26,500 before NI and pension contribution (which receives tax relief)... so what detail is missing here? Renting 3 bed house.. why? If they really want it £100 per month each just isn't going to do it....

[JohnMaxwell @john59maxwell]

@JeremyVineOn5 @AvaSantina @thejamesmax @theJeremyVine Who are these parents that think this is OK? Medical aspects excluded, back in the day it was always a major celebration point for them and you when you got your child 'dry' and the sooner the better, so it's a question of attitude on the parents part.. own it!
