@LaurieHunt90614 The “never vote conservative” means your opinion and everything you say is biased to one side which puts your posts and anything say meaningless. Your incapable of self thinking and just background noise or an ad machine for whichever party you follow.
@SupersixB@TheTorontoSun Considering the amount people are paying and it’s still not enough due to the now massive deficits we can’t afford whatever there spending money on.
@2ndTierFan@cspotweet Yeah if the government was actively looking to separate yes. But right now this is the “asking the question” to the public stage. “IF”it did win the vote and the government decided to act then that’s where consults come into play.
@charliehawkAB@erik_thorvalds@BertaProudDad Yeah true, but everyone is asking her on the UCP’s position. It seems there is no neutral position in politics in this case. But the referendum is still a go even after that dumb court case. 44% of Alberta voted NDP. It will be a long shot I believe.
@erik_thorvalds@BertaProudDad I signed that petition, but Danielle and the UCP were elected before all this, never ran on this, it’s not there position. I can’t be upset at that. We have a referendum, the question may not be exactly what we wanted but she made it. At least it’s not dead in the water.
@HolyRoller1945@nationalpost I think I seen a press conference once, she went through her report and stated they don’t know for sure till excavation. Then the AFN nation chief got up there and said that was indisputable proof that crimes were committed. Then the liberals and there media took it away.
@_mrg_1@calgaryherald Two totally different economies, being with Canada actually drains investment in this province in there biggest area because of a decade of liberal policies. Even RBC noted $1 trillion of lost investment in that time country wide. 1/
@_mrg_1@calgaryherald What part of Albertas economy is being destroyed? And if you’re originally from Quebec lemme tell ya, our economies are completely different, so which part are you worried about?
@_mrg_1@calgaryherald Then that’s just you then. Me I say give the 400,000 people the chance and give the 300,000 people a chance to vote there way province wide. Regardless of what you think, they are Alberta tax paying citizens.
@_mrg_1@calgaryherald You can’t win an issue by out petitioning it. That is what referendums are for, government sees the vast amount of people on each side of this. The most democratic thing you can do is a referendum on the issue. No need to name call, let the people decide!
@relsoo@AbJrogg@DeanHorninaq@ABDanielleSmith For myself, I understand The UCP isn’t a separatist party, not trying to change that at all. I voted for them. I also support her for listening to the public’s concerns on both sides, I agree both questions should be there. Who am I to vilify hundreds of thousands of people.
@relsoo@AbJrogg@DeanHorninaq@ABDanielleSmith You do realize you can’t battle people’s concerns with petitions with the government, the only way to settle hot topics such as this is referendum. So far out of the population all they see is those numbers.
@AbJrogg@DeanHorninaq@ABDanielleSmith 400,000 people signed to add a question to the referendum, 300,000 signed to add a question. 700,000 people want to see this referendum.
@relsoo@AbJrogg@DeanHorninaq@ABDanielleSmith 400,000 people signed a petition to remain in Canada, 300,000 people signed to separate. 400,000 people signed for an added question on the referendum
@itspawsibl@calgaryherald Actually you did, the forever Canadian one was for the added question on the referendum. Should Alberta remain a part of Canada?
@landry_randolph@calgaryherald No she’s not, 300,000 people pushed it, 400,000 people pushed there way. Both met the threshold for added questions to a referendum already coming out with other questions. Both questions will be on it.
@_mrg_1@calgaryherald Both have met over the threshold for added questions on a referendum that was already coming out with other questions on it. Apparently over 700,000 people want to vote for or against it. Can’t say no one wants this!
