Sometimes a little pat on the back from a school friend from the past would make someone smile and feel encouraged.
The communication between them was somehow tapered by life's uncertainty, but those little connections remained like a little heart trying to beat. 💓
To excel and chase their dreams. To be a role model for Indigenous communities and for future generations.
Congratulations to all completers! 👏🏻☺️

"Learn, grow, and chase your dreams."
Bong Salamat (Thank you), Falel Kesbung Integrated School for inviting me as your keynote speaker during the 11th Kindergarten and 5th JHS Moving Up cum 11th Commencement Exercises.
It was a meaningful experience and I appreciate the hospitality and effort in organizing such a successful event. I am grateful for the opportunity to have shared my story and encouraged my fellow T'boli to realize their full potential. To think beyond race and ethnicity.
PS. Special thanks to Migi for sponsoring this activity and to my sister, Bem, and her co-teachers for organizing this event and making it possible. Thank you to everyone for your birthday greetings. 😊

"A happy tummy means a happy heart."
A simple lunch treat for DSES students painted their faces with hundreds of smiles and giggles. It was such a fulfilling experience to celebrate our birthday with these students, who are also members of the Blaan and Tiboli tribes,
to which our family belongs. Reconnecting with our roots and inspiring them with our stories made the celebration even more special. As the saying goes, "We owe it to these children, to believe in them".
