@NewcastleCC "Support?" What absolute nonsense. You can't get any help as a small business if you drive though the CAZ. Unless you can provide evidence that you were working in the CAZ twice a week for 3 months you will get nothing. If you drive through everyday you get nothing. Just a tax!

@NewcastleCC If you don't help people to upgrade vehicles then you're only moving the pollution. People who need to drive through the CAZ will just drive around it. More miles, more pollution, just moved elsewhere.

@NewcastleCC Trying to prepare. Applied for a grant for a new van. Have been told that you don't know if i I qualify as I drive through the CAZ but don't stop. Being a sole trader I can't afford a new van (£30k+) without some financial help???????
