Difficult to see this as long-time Stanford basketball fan. I remember the day Jason and his brother committed to Stanford… it was all over the news. Not often a program, let alone Stanford, bags two McDonalds All Americans. From upsetting #1 Duke at Oakland Arena as a Stanford sophomore to a 13-year NBA career and becoming the first openly gay active player in league history — Jason Collins lived a life of courage and impact. Gone too soon. RIP legend.
