Pro-tip for #solar companies in the UK right now: 1. When a lead comes in follow it up! 2. When you agree to call a lead back and set a time, please call them. I've filled in maybe 20 callback requests, had 2 replies and both failed to call me back.
I get it, everyone wants solar right now, but you're leaving money on the table. I had finances in place, ready to sign and book an installation. I've now got a deal in place with a company that takes its customers seriously. It has taken 3 months but I'm happy.
Obviously @HM_Passport have no idea how their own process works. Last week we were told we hadn’t sent documents, this week they say the passport was printed 3 weeks ago! Try to phone and you just get cut off #Shambles
@HM_Passport Please help - does anyone have an email or phone number that actually works? No updates on tracking since April 27th and I’ve had so many conflicting replies to the webform. Is it cancelled/printed/lost - who knows? 😢
Anyone else getting conflicting advice from @HM_Passport ? Online tracking says docs received yet we got a txt this morning saying docs were missing? Phone lines are just cutting us off "too busy".
@gabidavila@CrateandBarrel I had a similar sized box from Amazon containing a MicroSD card, but in their defence it was paper space fill not plastic. Oh and that time I ordered a wiper blade and it came on the “oversize” delivery van because the 60cm wiper came in a 1.6m box
@PovilasKorop The first change I put in place at my new job was to document then refine the local dev environment using Valet. Our latest developer was fully set up and checking in code within 2 hours. There is no need to babysit developers if you can make the process simple.
