@Panzerfrank @archer_rs I believe in theory - Yes - however there are a lot of prerequisites that mean it can be kicked down the road a long way. If an Independent Scotland wanted to join EU then it would need to sign up to the Euro but the rules would prevent it from adopting it for years

@howardthedolph1 @valis64 Son was in a shared flat last year and the meter got switched over to prepay without anyone attending. Think it was a smart meter though. The guy who had the account had messed up his finances and left the bills unpaid. Landlord wasn't involved until they left the flat.
