TITLE 📓: The Highest Ambition
SCRIPTURE ✝️: Philippians 3:10 (NIV) - I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.
BIBLE STUDY 📖: Paul was a man who had possessed everything the world valued: elite education, religious prestige, and deep cultural respect. Yet, after encountering Jesus on the road to Damascus, he considered all his previous achievements as absolute garbage compared to one single, burning ambition. Writing from a damp, uncomfortable Roman prison, he declares that his ultimate goal is simply to know Christ more intimately.
Scholars emphasize that Paul is not talking about accumulating more academic facts or theological trivia about Jesus. He is talking about a deep, experiential knowledge. He wants to personally feel the surging power of the resurrection in his daily life, but he also embraces the uncomfortable reality of sharing in Christ's sufferings. He understands that true spiritual maturity requires walking the entire path the Savior walked, including the difficult valleys.
It is easy to want the power of the resurrection without the fellowship of the suffering. We want the victory without the battle. But Paul reminds us that we are molded into the image of Jesus through both our triumphs and our trials. When we face hardships today, we can lean into them, knowing that even our pain is a holy opportunity to know our Savior more deeply.
PRAYER 🙏: Father, forgive me when my ambitions become tangled up in worldly success or temporary comforts. Shift my heart today so that my greatest desire is simply to know Jesus more. Let me experience the power of Your resurrection, and give me the grace to endure suffering with joy, knowing it makes me more like You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

MESSAGE 🗒️: As you turn down the covers and adjust the pillows, it is very common for the mind to suddenly become a filing cabinet of worries. The quiet atmosphere of the bedroom often acts as a blank canvas where our biggest concerns about our health, our families, and our finances like to paint themselves in vivid colors. Trying to carry that heavy emotional luggage into bed will only result in a restless night of tossing and turning.

Scholars emphasize that the action of casting our anxiety is not a passive thought, but a deliberate, forceful throwing away of our burdens onto the capable shoulders of God. You are not designed to carry the weight of the world while you sleep. Tonight, you are invited to empty your hands completely because the Creator of the universe deeply and personally cares for you. Let go of the heavy load, close your eyes, and allow His overwhelming affection to lull you into a peaceful rest.

PRAYER 🛐: Father, I admit that I am carrying worries that are too heavy for me to bear. Tonight, I purposefully cast every single anxiety onto Your strong shoulders. Thank You for caring for me so deeply that I can sleep peacefully without carrying the weight of tomorrow. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

FRIENDS AND FOLLOWERS
Today, as we pause to reflect on the significance of Good Friday, we look toward the cross and see the ultimate act of love and sacrifice. Just as the Passover lamb once represented protection and deliverance for a people in bondage, Jesus took on that role for all of mankind. He stepped into the darkness of our world to offer Himself, ensuring that through His sacrifice, the heavy burden of our past is lifted away, leaving us cleansed and ready for a new beginning.

There is a quiet majesty on this day, much like the steady, powerful flight of an eagle soaring high above the storms of life. On this Friday, the Son of God took the weight of the world upon His shoulders, choosing to endure the shadows so that we could eventually walk in the light. It is a day of profound humility, reminding us that we are never truly alone in our struggles; we are carried by a strength far greater than our own, much like being lifted up on "eagles' wings" toward a divine grace.
As we spend this time in reflection and prayer, let’s hold onto the hope that this cleansing brings into our lives.
Good Friday isn't just a look back at a historical event, but a reminder of the renewal available to each of us right now. Because of His grace, we can look past the horizon of today with peaceful hearts, knowing that the sacrifice made on the cross provides the wind beneath our wings to rise above and look forward to the joy of the coming resurrection.

A GOLDEN EAGLE IN NORTH CENTRAL PA?
As she banked sharply through the intricate maze of pine branches, the absolute proof of my wild suspicions was suddenly staring me right in the lens! This wasn’t some awkward juvenile bald eagle learning the ropes; I had just stumbled upon a magnificent, bona fide Golden Eagle! The undeniable evidence was all there on brilliant display as she maneuvered away from my parked vehicle: that wide, unmistakable dark band at the tip of her tail feathers, those stylish feathery pantaloons extending all the way down to her ankles, and of course, that glittering golden cape crowning the back of her head like raptor royalty. To witness such a rare and regal visitor gracing His woodland kingdom in early March is the kind of heart-pounding jackpot that makes every single mile driven absolutely worth it. The sheer thrill of documenting this majestic queen of the skies is exactly why I keep rolling through these mountains, and I can hardly wait to show you the rest of her spectacular flight! See less
