Aer Lingus takes delivery of its first Airbus A321XLR from Hamburg. EI-XLR arrived in Dublin at 1410 local time. The airline is the second operator of the aircraft type worldwide and is expected to receive a second aircraft tomorrow.

International Airlines Group (IAG) selected the A321XLR in 2019 to expand its fleet with a firm order for 14 aircraft. Of these, eight are destined for Iberia and six for Aer Lingus.
