Effigy of a cross-legged knight probably originally intended to be laid horizontally. A similar, less mutilated monument dated circa 1300 can be seen in the Draycott Chapel of St Margaret's Church, Draycott-in-the-Moors.

@Enderfay Also the remains of a child were found behind the fireplace in the room on the left as you walk in, the remains being interred at a nearby church. Not long after the remains being moved the cries of a baby could be heard quite frequently, it was decided to….

@Enderfay Apparently the white / Grey lady in question is French and has been seen on the stairs leading to and in various upstairs rooms. A horses head has been seen in the cellar of the pub (witnessed by 2 team members during an investigation of the pub 2008)

@Enderfay I got the feeling that we were being watched at the time and also felt that we shouldn't have been there, after looking up the history of the church I discovered that during raids by the Welsh people living in the vicinity of the church actually went in the to seek refuge.
