@chair_hello@sbmkit@CritterGamingfr@PutrIsCool@DioGoesBrando@fanf3e Also o agree with the narrative of the battle being a stand fight, but they’re not mutually exclusive. The narrative is a stand battle but there’s an explanation why it’s primarily that in the narrative
@chair_hello@sbmkit@CritterGamingfr@PutrIsCool@DioGoesBrando@fanf3e You’re confusing me now. Are you saying you believe that dio’s powers are being inhibited by Jonathan’s rejection of them but he hasn’t fully lost them? Is that what you’re arguing? Cause this didn’t start out as a discussion of that
@chair_hello@sbmkit@CritterGamingfr@PutrIsCool@DioGoesBrando@fanf3e If a scene has a person with a gun in their hands and two bodies on the ground but they only mention shooting one of them. Is it really hard to come to conclusion that the person shot both people but are primarily focused on one of them?
@chair_hello@sbmkit@CritterGamingfr@PutrIsCool@DioGoesBrando@fanf3e This is not head canon, just cause it’s not explicitly said doesn’t mean it’s not the most obvious explanation. Again a writer doesn’t need to explain every detail to you, you should be trusted to come to some conclusions by yourself brodie
@chair_hello@sbmkit@CritterGamingfr@PutrIsCool@DioGoesBrando@fanf3e That makes a lot of sense. Considering regeneration and blood feeding are his most essential abilities, makes sense that those are Abel to fight through and still be accessible to do but the others are completely inhibited or so toned down there’s no use in using them
@chair_hello@sbmkit@CritterGamingfr@PutrIsCool@DioGoesBrando@fanf3e It’s not a huge leap in logic to conclude that is most likely why he can’t use his other vampiric abilities which is why we never see him do this. He doesn’t need to write out a list of abilities he can’t use cause if the rejection, just that one detail tells us all need to know
