The Gamecocks cruise to victory in the hottest game ever played at Williams-Brice Stadium. The 57-point offensive outing is more than any game last season.

The team will take on Towson at home next Saturday at 7:00 p.m.

South Carolina running back Isaiah Augustave punches into the endzone for his first touchdown as a Gamecock and the team's SEVENTH touchdown on the day.

The game now sits at 50-0. Don't think a 15-minute fourth quarter was needed to decide this one.

The Gamecocks score 14 in the third to bolster their lead. A unique situation here at Williams-Brice, the fourth quarter will be just 10 minutes due to extreme heat.

Cutter Woods just dropped one in the lap of redshirt freshman receiver Lex Cyrus, who made a stellar diving catch for a gain of 44 yards.

The reception was the second-consecutive for Cyrus, the first two catches of his collegiate career.

South Carolina breaks the 40-point barrier with a Cutter Woods pass touchdown to sophomore tight end Mike Tyler, pushing the score to 43-0.

The Gamecocks scored over 40 points just once last season. To call the offense refreshing would be putting it politely.

The team put together a 6-play, 75-yard touchdown drive, ending in a 37-yard touchdown from LaNorris Sellers to Donovan Murph.

Murph is up to 92 yards and two touchdowns on the day.

Sellers is 10 of 12 for 109 passing yards just over halfway through the second quarter. Kendal Briles is making Sellers' job as easy as possible.

Redshirt senior receiver DJ Black grabs his first catch of the season for a 16-yard gain, but a hard hit jars the ball free for a fumble.

Black was able to fall back on the ball to retain possession for South Carolina.

Redshirt freshman edge rusher Anthony Addison ends Kent State's drive with the first sack of his career!

Dru DeShields picked up a solid gain of 26 three plays prior, but the Golden Flashes punt the ball back to South Carolina with 9:06 to go in the second quarter.

Special teams trickery follows the Gamecocks second touchdown, with tight end Maurice Brown II hitting tight end Brady Hunt with a jump pass after receiving the direct snap.
