Maybe this needs to be spelled out, but Americans don’t like soccer. Yes there are some people that follow it but it’s quite rare. Ask a person on the street if they know a name of an MLS player they won’t be able to answer
People make fun of essential oils, however I think that eos are a gateway way to people improving their health. Ie they start working out, eating better

@pensandpoison That’s true, in part, elite universities were ways of vetting and gate keeping higher echelons of society. If you graduated from there you had the stamp of approval.
Other universities were designed to do something similar but then be for certain industries.
Most countries or peoples have had a common myth or stories that bind them together. Ie Spartans believed they descended from Hercules. It’s fascinating that today in the US that much of our common narrative has been erased and or supplemented with new myths.
I’m still surprised that Christian colleges don’t have massively reduced tuition for other Christians or atleast give a non interest student loans. It would set up other Christians in a much better place and I’m sure it wouldn’t hurt them.
