GEOLOGY, GEOCHEMISTRY AND GEOPHYSICS ARE FINALLY POINTING IN THE SAME DIRECTION AT $NRED.CN.
At surface, Wilmac has copper results up to 1.67%, gold up to about 0.0126 oz per short ton, epidote alteration, AB-type porphyry veins and mineralized stockwork.
Below surface, IP and AMT are interpreted to outline multiple targets, including pipe-like and cupola-like features connected to deeper intrusive sources. Regionally, a large magnetic anomaly is interpreted as a fault-segmented composite intrusive complex.
Any one dataset can mislead an explorer. The bullish signal is the convergence of independent datasets across different depths and locations. NRED now has a coherent model that can be tested target by target instead of drilling a vague regional anomaly
Those grades next to Copper Mountain are getting hard to ignore. Even a couple solid drill holes there could change the whole narrative.

1.67% Cu Made Me Stop Scrolling
Okay this is probably the number everyone is gonna notice from today's NRED news.
Wilmac trench samples returned up to 1.67% Cu + 0.433 g/t Au, while 9 grab samples averaged 0.639% Cu. And this is coming from a project sitting only about 6.2 miles from Hudbay's producing Copper Mountain mine.
For some perspective, Copper Mountain currently has roughly 345 Mt of proven + probable reserves grading 0.26% Cu + 0.12 g/t Au. That makes NRED's 1.67% Cu headline number about 6.4x the copper grade, although obviously a trench grab sample and a mine-wide reserve grade are VERY different things and shouldn't be treated as apples to apples.
What gets me more bullish is everything around that number. NRED now has interpreted targets roughly 650-1,800 ft below surface, 2 interpreted parent magmas, multiple pipe/cupola-shaped features, porphyry-style veining + stockwork, and AMT that has already looked roughly 4,900 ft deep.
So yeah, 1.67% Cu is the number that gets clicks.
I'm way more interested in the question it creates:
what the hell is sitting underneath it?
That's what the deeper exploration is gonna have to answer
The market usually wants drill results. NRED is still building the target map.
NRED has outlined multiple interpreted porphyry-style targets at Wilmac. I would rather watch the target quality improve than chase a flashy headline with no geology.

Past production doesn’t prove a major deposit - but it does prove this region has been producing real minerals for a very long time. For NRED, that history makes Wilmac even more interesting

What stood out to me from the Canada–US trade discussion is that critical minerals are no longer being treated like a side issue
They’re becoming part of the bigger conversation around trade, tariffs, domestic supply chains and strategic resources
That matters because North America wants more control over the minerals it needs, while copper demand is still moving in the opposite direction of supply
Global copper demand is projected to rise from about 28.3Mt in 2025 to 42.4Mt by 2040, with a potential supply gap of roughly 10.1Mt per year
And new mines can take around 17 years to move from discovery to production
That’s why I keep coming back to NRED
