The Christian church overall, baptist, Pentecostal, Lutheran, Methodist etc, including the Catholic church are all the same. They are divisions derived from men’s interpretations of the written word called the Bible. The church today does not follow the practices and order of the early church in the ways described in the new testament. It looks nothing like the early church. We have made christianity into another religion vs what it was intended to be a relationship with God.

Why do bad things happen at all if God is so loving and cares?
It’s simple actually, we are not robots. We are way more. We are free will beings God gave this world to do as we want, good or bad. The Jews believed their savior was going to come and take over the world with power. Well in what world does forcing power on people ever work!?
Jesus came to show us the way. So that we are ourselves could fix it. And the only way to do that is through sacrificial love putting one another before ourselves. His ways are the only ways by conduct that we could live together forever I’m peace and harmony with one another. Bottom line is, God/Jesus can help but he can override our will from the outside. He has to do it through us, who he gave this world too. We have to make the decisions to create a better world.
