I've seen a bunch of people on here today fall for abject SatireSlop by someone claiming to be a member of the Norwegian Nobel Committee.
I just didn't expect a Sky News foreign correspondent to be one of them (now deleted).
Some Reform supporters complaining about me equating Green’s and Reform’s toxicity this morning. The Green’s Zionism motion is racist. Reform’s embrace of Ethno-Nationalism and the Nigeria Strategy is racist. That’s it. There’s not really any argument.
What a disgrace to the United States and the free world. President Zelenskyy is on the side of liberty; the president of the world’s leading democracy is on the side of tyranny & aggression.
BREAKING: Two Jewish schools in New York City were placed under lockdown following bomb threats.
Look at these children, how little they are, being taken from their classes because someone thought it would be funny or righteous to threaten to murder them.
There is a sickness in New York.
After the Green Party's "Zionism is Racism" vote, the Leader of Haringey Council, which is controlled by the Greens, wrote to various Synagogues in the borough to "reassure" them.
I want to show you Highgate Synagogue's reply. I believe it is worth reading in its entirety.
More air war than ground war, in that involves no visible human contact. But it goes to show how easy it is to buy your way into the market, US style, with a couple of big foreign donors.
We need not to emulate US politics, which money has conclusively warped.
Given that the term was quite literally popularised by a former Imperial Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, it doesn't seem unreasonable to expect someone who no doubt considers themselves "anti-racist" to condemn it.
Huh. Maybe they were stung by the whole Aung San Suu Kyi thing, and have decided to get ahead of the curve by recognizing laureates who disgrace the prize *before* it's awarded?
Note to broadcast journalists interviewing Zack Polanski;
Don’t forget to challenge him on his lies - this is also your job.
So when he says 75,000 ‘murdered in Gaza’ point out that figure from Hamas includes terrorists and people who died of natural causes.
When he says ‘genocide’ point out this has not been found by any court and is denied. Particularly as the population of Gaza is now higher than it was.
When he talks about child amputees point out that officials have strangely not highlighted child amputees in any other war, including wars where more than 10x the number were killed.
When he talks about the ‘ongoing genocide’ remind him that Hamas was meant to disarm a year ago and still hasn’t.
Don’t let him just come on and spout his lies.
NEW: The 7 October attacks unleashed an unprecedented rise in antisemitism in the UK and worldwide.
What is needed now is a strategy that gets to the very root of the hate and antisemitism festering in our society.
Our new report examines the rise of anti-Zionist antisemitism in the UK and the action needed to confront it. 👇

Our Foreign Secretary claimed he wanted to help Palestinians when he proudly announced a raft of sanctions on Israel.
Now:
🔴 20 out of the 27 people running the consulate to help the Palestinians are leaving the country
🔴 the consulate is no longer an official part of an embassy which serviced the Palestine Authority
🔴 the 7 Brits also there to work with the Palestinian police, have also left.
🔴 and the two Brits working with the Board of Peace to ensure humanitarian aid to Gaza will now no longer be members.
The sanctions may have got a standing ovation at Labour conference but I think, on the ground, we now have less opportunity to help the Palestinians, not more.
WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING IN THE CAULDRON OF THE MIDDLE EAST.... if Pakistan and Turkey are bombing the Houthis of Yemen, if Eritrea. backed by Egypt and Saudi, is invading Ethiopia, backed by UAE and Israel, if tension is rising between Turkey and Greece, if there are Ukrainian and Israeli contingents in Arabia, Turkish troops in Somalia, Israeli and UAE forces in Somaliland, Israel and Turkey supporting Azerbaijan, India supporting Armenia???
Some of this is explained in my new article @wsj and my new book The Cauldron....
Simon Sebag-Montefiore on how the boundaries of the Middle East are changing, with traditional rivalries giving way to new alliances.

The number of people who are highly motivated to vote tactically to defeat Reform is, on all polling evidence, reassuringly substantial (they include me).
But @TheGreenParty is now out of that calculation. You can’t defeat one racist party by voting for another.
On the third anniversary of the 7 October Hamas terrorist massacre, don't fall for the lies. Here is a fully sourced account of why you shouldn't believe the propaganda. And do not denounce it unless you've actually clicked on it and read it.
THREE YEARS.
Three years since the moment my life changed forever. Even now, it feels so unreal that sometimes I still can’t fully comprehend that I was kidnapped and taken to Gaza. Sometimes it feels like it was all just a nightmare I somehow woke up from.
But at the same time, the pain is always here.
It never really leaves, and sometimes, it only gets stronger.
This year, when I went to visit the graves of my friends, I felt like it had somehow become even harder.
Maybe because the hostages are finally home.
Maybe because I’m no longer part of that fight.
Or maybe because everyone else has already graduated, moved to Tel Aviv, and started their careers.
And you remain there, like a memory from another life. A life that was innocent, young, and happy. A group of friends simply enjoying life, dreaming big, with no idea how quickly everything could change.
I miss you every single day.
With every step I take, on every path I choose, I find myself wondering what it would be like if you were still here beside me.
As more time passes, I realize that soon, more time will have passed since we lost you than the amount of time I actually had the chance to know you. And that is something I still can’t accept.
To me, you are always with me.
And for those of us who have lost someone we love, it isn’t easy to watch the world keep moving when some people’s lives simply stopped.
It isn’t easy to live with the guilt of being the ones who are still here. But we have to keep going, because that is what they would have wanted for us.
We have to learn to live alongside the pain.
Embrace it.
Forgive it.
Understand it.
But at the same time, keep looking forward.
Give yourself permission to
LIVE.
