The news of this tragic accident is devastating and heartbreaking. It is an unimaginable loss.
Our hearts are with the family, friends and all those who have been affected by this tragedy.
Thank you to all the first responders for their courage and their service.
Congrats to our amazing candidate @ahsanulhafizolp for a fantastic office opening today. Ontario Liberals are energized and ready to turn Scarborough Southwest Liberal red again!
Nothing beats a day spent out in the community.
John Fraser joined Ahsanul Hafiz in Scarborough Southwest this week for great conversations with residents and a chance to hear directly from the people who call this community home.

In 2018 @fordnation removed the cap on ticket resales.
That cost Ontarians millions $ over 8 yrs.
A World Series backlash forced him to act.
He rushed legislation and now it’s a mess…
Sound familiar?
In the immortal words of Yogi Berra.
“It’s déjà vu all over again”
Two ticket-reselling platforms named by Ontario for allegedly breaking its strict rules are pushing back, accusing the Ford government of botching the implementation of the new system.

After eight years of Doug Ford, more and more Ontarians are asking a simple question: Has life gotten better?
For too many people, the answer is no.
That's why Doug Ford's approval rating has fallen to its lowest level since taking office. Ontarians are tired of being told everything is fine when it clearly isn't. They deserve better.

🚨#BREAKING: Despite our best efforts, Ford’s PCs blocked routine vetting of public appointees for a second time.
@fordnation doesn’t want you to know who he’s putting in Ontario’s most powerful positions.
How far will Doug Ford go to avoid accountability?

Trust is earned through transparency.
But when reports are blacked out, questions go unanswered, and ministries refuse to disclose basic information, that trust starts to disappear.
Release the audit. Tell Ontarians the truth.

The death of Toronto Police Constable Marc Pinizzotto is heartbreaking — the second Ontario officer killed in the line of duty in a week.
Our deepest condolences to Constable Pinizzotto's family, loved ones, and colleagues at @TorontoPolice.
We honour his service and sacrifice.
Update: A Toronto police officer is dead following an apparent exchange of gunfire during a raid at a highrise building in North York, according to the U.S. ambassador to Canada. https://t.co/tYwUeObUKW
NEW: U.S. Chamber of Commerce event with Ross Perot Jr. and Doug Ford cancelled after White House complaints, sources say #onpoli https://t.co/S7a2h9sp87
The news of the death of OPP Provincial Constable Tarun Bali, who was killed in the line of duty today while serving in Hearst, is heartbreaking .
Our deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, friends and OPP colleagues. May his courage and service never be forgotten.
Nearly 300 seniors joined us for our first annual Seniors’ Tea to celebrate Seniors’ Month. It was a pleasure to recognize the contributions of the seniors who help make Don Valley North such a strong and caring community. Happy Seniors’ Month!

Doug Ford said he gutted OSAP because students were misusing the money and the program was too expensive.
But it was @fordnation who was mismanaging OSAP.
95% of a $465 million increase went to private career colleges, not Ontario’s public colleges and universities.

Yesterday, our leader, @JohnFraserOS, spent the day knocking on doors with @AhsanulHafizOLP in Scarborough Southwest.
One thing became clear very quickly: Ahsanul isn’t just running in this community — he’s part of it. Residents know him, trust him, and see the work he’s put in over the years.
Scarborough Southwest deserves a strong voice at Queen’s Park. Ahsanul Hafiz is ready to be that voice.

This week, Doug Ford gave himself a five-month break from Queen's Park.
Meanwhile, questions are still piling up: a Scarborough subway project that's billions over budget, a government trying to weaken transparency laws, and a healthcare system stretched to its limits.
Accountability doesn't stop just because the Legislature does.
Here's your weekly recap.

The government thinks they don't have to show up. We disagree.
The Legislature exists for a reason: to make sure the government answers to the people of Ontario. That only works if we're here.

Today, we remember Our London Family.
We honour the lives of Salman Afzaal, Madiha Salman, Talat Afzaal, and Yumna Afzaal, who were killed in an act of Islamophobic hate. We stand with the survivor, their family, and Muslim communities in London, across Ontario, and beyond.
Their memory is our responsibility.
At a time when Islamophobia is on the rise, we must confront it clearly, consistently, and together. Hate has no place in London, no place in Ontario, and no place anywhere in our communities. It has been 5 years since the tradegy and there has been little movement by the Ontario government to take measures to implement the Our London Family Act. We call on the government to stand with the community and push for measures to make Ontario a safer place for Muslims to live.
Today, tomorrow, and always, we stand with the Muslim community.
Today, I joined the Walk to End ALS in Ottawa in memory of my dad, Randy, and in support of every person and family facing this devastating disease.
I was proud to walk alongside my family and friends @karenmccrimmon and @JohnFraserOS.
ALS changes lives in an instant. It takes far too much from far too many, but it also reveals incredible strength, resilience, and love.
I walked for my dad, for those we’ve lost, for those still fighting, and for the families and caregivers who stand beside them every step of the way.
Together, we’ll keep raising awareness, supporting research, and fighting for a future without ALS. @ALSCanada
Doug Ford found $29 million for a luxury private jet.
But when it comes to paying frontline community health and social service workers the wages they're owed, suddenly the money isn't there.
Ontario Liberals are calling on the Ford government to immediately pay workers their retroactive Bill 124 wage increases.
A deal is a deal. Workers deserve what they're owed.
