Buying committee flipped. In 2015, Boomer & Gen-X held most procurement auth. By 2026, reversed: Millennials now largest share of buying seats, followed by Gen Z. TikTok/ChatGPT gen controls your pipeline.
Had a really interesting conversation recently around 2025 vs 2026 performance metrics.
At first glance, the numbers looked worse.
Everyone’s first reaction was:
“Something must not be working.”
But after digging deeper, we uncovered the real issue…
The tracking changed.
Different attribution.
Different reporting logic.
Different measurement standards.
So the data wasn’t apples to apples.
And honestly, it made me think spiritually too.
A lot of times in life, our metrics feel off because we’re tracking success through the wrong lens.
Culture tracks:
money
status
followers
titles
visibility
But Jesus tracks:
faithfulness
obedience
humility
serving others
loving people well
You can look “successful” by the world’s dashboard and still be spiritually empty.
Or feel unseen while Heaven calls you faithful.
“For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
— 1 Samuel 16:7
Sometimes the problem isn’t the outcome.
It’s the measurement system.
Google didn’t kill organic traffic.
It killed lazy marketing.
The old playbook:
- rank page
- get clicks
- collect leads
The new playbook:
become the cited source AI trusts
build authority across platforms
create content machines, not blog posts
Six actions every marketing leader should take before Q3 2026:
Stop obsessing over rankings alone
Build AI-citable content
Fix attribution before making budget decisions
Diversify traffic beyond Google
Turn experts into media brands
Treat trust as the new SEO
A lot of companies are about to discover their “traffic strategy” was just dependency.

@endurance Disappointed with @EnduranceProtect. My warranty claim was denied even though I used premium synthetic oil, which exceeds manufacturer standards. Provided all maintenance records, yet still denied. Beware if you're considering their services! #WarrantyClaim#CustomerServiceFail
“AI won’t take our jobs, it’s creating new ones! I’ve seen junior staff become data analysts & creatives double output. Embrace AI as a tool & focus on uniquely human skills: critical thinking, emotional intelligence, creative problem-solving. #FutureOfWork#AIInMarketing”
I think one of the reasons the early church changed their world was because they had a sense of abandon. They took risks and left their comfort zone.
We have a new year with new opportunities before us. Let’s seize the moment.
We can always make money but we can't rewind time to be with our family. #family#time shout to my brother Tae Lamar for the song playing in the background. https://t.co/QeDorWHBcI
29 dead in two mass shootings in America in 24 hours. What on earth is happening? Pundits will make this political, each blaming the other side’s ideology. But something bigger is happening here. It’s called evil and it’s motivated by Satan himself. This is a spiritual battle

“Let not the sun go down on your wrath” (Eph. 4:26) A couple made up their minds they would never go to bed mad at each other. 30 years later, someone asked the husband how it worked out.
“Pretty well.”he said.
“But sometimes it was a little rough sitting up all night.”

True, people who work from home may not be wearing pants. But they are more productive, report higher job satisfaction, and save their companies money on office space. https://t.co/HSAMLmUF0c
If you see a strong and thriving marriage, it didn’t happen by accident or by default. If a marriage is strong and thriving, it’s because two people are doing their part. The man has his part, and the woman has her part.
The Bible says, “All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own” (Isaiah 53:6). Think about how many people have bought into the same lies, generation after generation. Maybe Satan figures, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. “
