🥩 Day 15 of Carnivore - Wednesday Jan 15
- Diet broken today. Intentionally and willingly.
- On an island in Fiji for a week with my wife and too hard to do strict carnivore here with all the great food which I can’t turn it down.
- I did go back to a completely normal diet in one day (all foods and cocktails included) and felt nothing from my body telling me I should slowly ease back into it.
- Carnivore experiment will commence when I return. Bula
🥩 Kicking off 2025 with carnivore 🥩
Thought it’d be a fun life experiment to dive into 2025 participating in World Carnivore Month with a full month of the carnivore diet.
Had lots of questions and interest, and it’s been quite the enlightening journey so far.
Here’s a thread with some daily thoughts and highlights (will keep updating):
Thread 🧵:
🥩 Day 14 of Carnivore - Tuesday Jan 14
- Not much to report yesterday. BAU day at work and with the diet
- Was busy this morning and didn’t get a chance to make a big carnivore breakfast so just got steak and 3 poached eggs with some butter from local cafe.
- Around 1pm got weirdly really light headed. Not sure if from not enough food/breakfast/electrolytes today?
- Ended up having half a charcoal chicken at around 230pm as didn’t get much better after some water and electrolytes. Little bit of a cheat here (few spices and unknown rubs involved in the cooking) but was kinda battling.
- Went for dinner with family at night and struggled through the temptations of what looked like a really good meal, waiting for my steak and butter to come out. Not very fun & not very sustainable if I wanted to maintain the diet in the future.
