Leaving Vegas with the 👑! Thanks to the Mountaineer fans that showed up to cheer @WVUhoops on to victory. You made a big difference. Future is bright for Mountaineer 🏀. Let’s Go!!!
Tonight’s game between West Virginia and Arizona State was unbelievable exposure for college baseball, the two teams on the field and the Big 12. Each involved entity would be wise to capitalize on this massive success moving forward.
If I were @espn, I’d fill every Sunday Night with for the rest of the season with college baseball. And you don’t have to just limit it to one time slot either.
If I were @Big12Conference, I’d have ESPN on the phone at 8 am tomorrow demanding the league be highlighted on each Sunday broadcast moving forward.
“You got Pittsnogled”
Kevin Pittsnogle once starred at @WVUhoops and became a March Madness legend.
Now, he’s the principal of a middle school in his hometown of Martinsburg, West Virginia. @KPittsnogle
Such a dumb take. Hire a coach that will be a breakout star and hopefully stick around for a long time! Wren has taken our athletic department and programs to a higher level than ever before. Go away.
I like Ross Hodge. He’s done nothing wrong. He’s overachieved in his 1st season at #WVU. He’s brought in a great 2026 class and he’s represented the university well.
My issue is with Wren Baker hiring a coach with zero qualifications for this job. Baker is not above criticism.
Idiot. This person has ZERO clue what it takes to hire coaches at a super high level. Shouldn’t even give this account any attention, but this is so egregious. GO AWAY.
Dear @wrenbaker —
You hired a head coach who had 2 years of major college basketball experience. He made it to the NIT twice in those two years. What made him qualified to become the head coach at #WVU other than he was your buddy?
Sincerely,
Real (and worried) WVU Fans
@jflow41@JayBilas@CoachHuggs He was calling the Celtics Nuggets game last night and was talking about how the Celtics play like Joe played. Truck went down and Joe stepped up vs Kentucky. Also how he taught Huggs the 1-3-1.
