@thinkdefence I beg to differ.
With 2 eager partners GCAP will be better value than any alternative (FCAS, NGAD, F/A-XX, F-35 II etc).
we get a share of foreign sales, strengthen UK manufacturing and remove 'foreign' delays.
The Army get sovereign air superiority...
Almost that magical UK MOD time of the year.. Defence Investment Plan Eve.
What's going to be under the magical money tree??
Here’s a Bingo card, hoping for “Quintuple Multi‑domain bingo!”
(Accidentally deleted the original post!!!)
@NASAArtemis That's a BRUTAL separation.
K' Bye.
But we've shared so much, to the moon and back. I gave you Oxygen, movement and power.
Yeah, fun while it lasted. L8Rs.
Wait, what do I do now?
Well, I'm re-entering. You packed you heat shield. Right?
Err... no.
@thinkdefence I will laugh my ass off if Burnham quits, gifts Manchester mayor to Reform in a by-election then loses the MP race.
Which in turn paralyses Labour leader hopefuls and we're back to square one.
Starmer as PM into the next election.
@thinkdefence Isn't that just a flatbed Tracked Boxer?
I would say UK MOD is more likely than not to buy tracked Boxer, if trials are successful.
If the trials are unsuccessful we're GUARANTEED to buy it, then spend a fortune over speccing it... /s
@Liltall_Liltall I refused their subscription model in 2013 (locking my creative behind THEIR paywall) I used CS6 for ages now I use Affinity and others.
There are better, cheaper, more innovative solutions out there. Without the monthly fee.
@thinkdefence I can't remember a time when technology and tactics jumped so far and fast.
Add in AI drone autonomy and we'd be fools to underestimate the risk.
Undetectable 'sleeping' drones I can see replacing the landmine. Waiting for a heat or movement, reporting then attacking.
