Last day with Ss today and first year as a #middleschool principal (elem admin for 15 years). I’ve always been in the elementary world and the middle school has its own vibe for sure. I hope to reflect on the lessons I’ve learned and improve next year!

Baffling how quickly Ps get angry over things that truly don’t matter in the grand scheme. How do they feel good knowing they just yelled at, screamed at, cussed at the very people who dedicate their lives to working with their child. We have families and children, too. #BeKind

@TeachMrReed Middle school principal-we took the last day of the semester to reward academics. Students watched a movie in the auditorium and played “minute to win it” style games for prizes we purchased with donations from our community. Not only did we do that but our admin team planned it!
